Health Benefits

Medical, Dental and Vision

Full-time employees are eligible for insurance benefits on the first day of employment. Choose from several health plans, which provide comprehensive medical coverage, pharmacy benefits, and network preventive care – including routine vision and hearing exams. Eligible employees may also cover their spouses or domestic partners and children.

Our dental options encourage proactive, preventive care and help offset the cost of major services. Our vision plan provides coverage for glasses and contact lenses.

Flexible Savings Accounts

We offer two Flexible Savings Accounts (FSAs) that let you use pre-tax dollars to pay for eligible out-of-pocket healthcare and dependent daycare expenses. You contribute a portion of your elected amount each pay period, with the entire annual contribution amount available to you right away.

Our short and long-term disability program provides 60% pay replacement for up to 90 days if you’re unable to work due to illness or injury.

Supplemental Insurance

Accident, Critical Illness, and Hospital Confinement Indemnity are offered at group rates, at the employee’s expense.

Work/Life Balance

Paid Time Off (PTO)

At Security First, we understand the value of taking time away from work to refresh and recharge, and we want you to use your vacation time. Employees who work at least 30 hours a week are eligible for vacation time. You begin earning vacation time on your first day of work and vacation time is awarded after your first month of employment. The amount of vacation time that’s available to you depends on your role, hours worked, and length of service.

We recognize up to 11 paid holidays each year (this may vary by location).

Employee Assistance Program

Security First employees have access to our Employee Assistance Program (EAP). The mission of the EAP is to provide employee support for a health and productive community. The EAP provides access to qualified experts who assist employees and dependents in resolving personal stressors. This includes 24/7 phone access, face-to-face counseling, assessment and solution plans, and electronic access to professional expert. Employees may seek assistance from the EAP confidentially on their own or may be formally or informally referred to the EAP by management of Security First.
