Uni-ball 207 gel pens are specifically designed for fraud prevention, featuring specialized “Super Ink” that bonds with paper fibers to prevent check washing, altering, or erasing. The pigment-based ink is water- and fade-resistant, making it ideal for signatures, checks, and legal documents.

One of the simplest ways to prevent check washing is to use a gel ink pen. Regular ballpoint ink can be “washed” off of paper quite easily.
