Second Annual Feeding Hearts Food Drive a Success

Second Annual Feeding Hearts Food Drive a Success

Security First Bank, with the help of our customers and employees, collected over 6,000 food items system-wide to benefit area food pantries through our recently completed “Feeding Hearts” food drive.

From February 1st through the 14th, each of our 26 bank branch and 12 insurance office locations collected canned goods and non-perishable food items.

“Food donations tend to fall off after the holiday rush, which makes February an opportune time to continue raising hunger awareness,” comments Callie Wagner, Security First Bank Marketing Manager. “Our hope is that our food drive efforts will continue to grow each year with the assistance of our employees and community members and provide meaningful help to those in need.”

In addition to the food donations, a $500 monetary donation was made by Security First Bank in each of our 20 communities, for a total of $10,000.
