7th Annual Feeding Hearts Food Drive

7th Annual Feeding Hearts Food Drive

Security First Bank and Security First Insurance are proud to kick off our 7th annual Feeding Hearts Food Drive. Throughout the month of February, we invite our customers, employees, and community members to join us in supporting families in need by donating food, personal care items, or making a monetary contribution.

Thanks to the incredible generosity shown last year, our 2025 food drive collected more than 6,477 food and personal care items, along with $16,738.10 in cash donations across our Nebraska and South Dakota service areas. That support made a meaningful impact, and we’re excited to build on that momentum in 2026.

According to Feeding America, 1 in 8 people face hunger in South Dakota and 1 in 7 people face hunger in Nebraska (Feeding America). Here at Security First Bank and Security First Insurance, we believe in the power of community. By coming together, we can help support those who need basic necessities, such as food and personal care items, through our fundraising efforts. By extending the fundraising timeline to all month long, we hope to spread more awareness of food insecurity and provide additional support and assistance by collecting more donations.

We ask for your support.

During the month of February, please help us by donating what you can from the wish list below. There will be donation boxes at all 26 Security First locations. The donations that we collect will be distributed to local food pantries in the communities we serve. In addition to the food donations collected, Security First will make a $500 monetary donation in each of our communities.

Together, we can help feed more hearts and combat hunger in our community.
